Jacob Hillis, otherwise known as Jhil, is a 21yo producer/songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee.
 Starting his music career on YouTube under the alias “Jhil Music”, Jacob released remixes of popular EDM songs and produced music videos for smaller artists. After amassing over 250,000 views on YouTube he started taking music seriously and started creating original songs and releasing them on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Pandora. 
 The unique EDM/Alternative mix of sounds heard throughout his music can be traced back to his musical influences such as Illenium, EDEN, FRND, nothing,nowhere., and POORSTACY. Jacob’s first ever release under the alias “Jhil” was a 4 song EP called “Isolation” which incorporated Hip Hop and Alternative elements and focused heavily on the music itself rather than lyrics. Jacob’s 10 song debut album “Lovesick” dropped in October of 2021 and focuses heavily on electric guitar with hints of Pop and EDM, giving it an early 2000s Emo Rock vibe. The next phase of Jacob’s music will shy away from the Emo Rock sound and transport you back to his roots in Tennessee. Jacob’s journey is just beginning and we’re glad you’re apart of it!
